Anyone who equates Italian cuisine only with pizza and pasta will certainly not be happy here. But if you are not deterred by the location and accept the chef's recommendations, you will experience the variety of high-quality (northern) Italian cuisine in perfection, as well as an excellent selection of wines. All at a price commensurate with the quality.

We've been guests there practically from day one. We've never had anything to complain about. The food was always great and served quickly. We also use it in the Corona period Pick-up service. Hopefully we can have a nice meal there again soon.

Great location for a successful evening for two or for family celebrations. Delicious food, great wine and great hospitality ......

The service is always very striving and always binding! It is always nice and we had a nice afternoon. The inn is actually extremely tastefully decorated. Not a cheap decoration, but there was really a lot of lovely color matching, everything is a pleasure. The quantities are of a good and filling size.

When we visited, it appeared that the staff was not prepared for guests. A table was frantically set up for and back. The card is reduced to the bare minimum. The food was great the staff was also very friendly. Just one coat of paint could do with the walls (wine stains)

Really good wine selection. The quality of the dishes is good, but not excellent. Too bad. We had hoped for a real treat for the palate based on the Google reviews and we were only rewarded well for the long journey. Maybe next time we are invited.

Unfortunately, one star is one too many. From the time of reservation until after receipt of the bill in the restaurant, the staff was unable to speak friendly. The reaction to the request for card payment, which apparently overwhelmed the staff, was particularly impossible. The sale of drinks was also inattentive and slow. This place is absolutely not recommended for a cozy and nice evening.

Excellent Italian cuisine and a great wine selection. I have been able to enjoy some dishes there and I have never been disappointed. I found the wait staff and owners very friendly, I like the unobtrusive and unobtrusive way. The decor and the ambience are very pleasant. For me the focus is on quality and taste of the food and therefore I can absolutely recommend this restaurant.

The food was good, that was it but thats it. At the entrance one was scanned with the eyes if one is worthy to enter and get a table. Neither the staff nor the boss a friendly tone. The prices were also a bit higher than elsewhere. There were four of us and only guest in Essen would not go back.

For the first and last time been there. No atmosphere that makes the guest feel welcome. Inn very unfriendly so I have never experienced in any restaurant and at the high prices, the quality ok but not more.

Yesterday we went to the family diner in the restaurant. There were five of us and had a double Italian appetizer plate for all and then four different main courses, prawns, veal cheeks, calf's liver and venison. We did not have to wait long and the food was nice and hot. All were initially impressed by the ingredients of the appetizer plate. The warm olive bread was a hit. Personally, I had the very good liver - a sliced ​​onion cream - and also tried the veal cheeks (see both dishes in the picture). I thought the liver was good, but I was jealous of the veal cheek, that was just great! Zerging - as the saying goes - on the tongue, wonderful in the taste. In the case of the side dishes, the great cream spinach stood out in particular - everyone had. Why I now pull off a star: The food, which you get so far from pizza and pasta, also stand out in terms of price. Sometimes it is too expensive for me personally. There was a bit of a hiccup because we wanted to pay separately, but everything was already booked on a bill, which personally did not bother me. I just found the ambiance very stale - Da Daniele would need a renovation. If that does not bother you, look over it and enjoy the great food, because it is 1A and therefore highly recommended!
